Crawling in shrines and kissing them, a bidah?

"The revolution of Imam Hussain (as): Its specialities and focal points" by Ayatullah Khamenei (Original Arabic page posted at the bottom of the post)

'There is a strange bid'ah that people have lately invented, in the method of ziyarah. As you know, all the Imams (as) used to visit the pure grave of the Prophet (pbuh) and the pure graves of the ahlulbayt (as) in Medina, Iraq and Iran; but have you ever heard that any of the Imams (as) or the scholars used to crawl upon his torso from the entrance of the shrines to the grave spot during their ziyarah? So if this act was mustahab or good in itself, then surely the great scholars would have performed it, however, they did not perform such acts. In fact, it has been mentioned that Ayatullah Burujerdi, who was a very pious scholar and leading mujtahid, and a man of pioneering ideas; forbade even the kissing of the doorstep of the shrines of any of the Imams (as).'

  1. Bhooka, you are just a wahabi, it is becoming obvious now. You had started of subtly to deceive us, but your posts are making your wahabism more and more clear. This one about kissing graves makes that obvious.

Us shias, we dont follow escholars like you. We follow marjas, and no marja forbids kissing graves and crawling to them. And all our marjas have got official websites, so we don't believe these obscure books that you quote from. Honestly, these obscure arabic books that you only know of which you keep quoting and swinging on your blog, which basement do they come from? If they are reliable books, then wouldnt the actual scholars know about them? Anyway, I and other shias will stick to getting our information from offical websites of scholars. you can keeping making your useless posts.

    1. Hehe, well good luck with that. This nasibi pig bhooka is always in ghaiba, and only comes out every couple of months or so to create fitna. He's definitely paid by western sources, cuz they know that the real danger to them is from shias, so they are trying to do their divide and rule again by creating fitna. Don't know y u bhooka fanboys love him so much

  5. Thanks for wishing me luck :p

I think this approach of calling anyone you differ with as a paid agent etc is not good. I know he posts provocative stuff at times, but what he posts is not pulled out from thin air, such things have been mentioned in books, whether they are right or wrong is a different issue. The grand maraaje have already divided the shia into small "taqleed" groups, i dont think this guy has much role in dividing people.

I would suggest a better option, rather than bad mouthing him, go and do some research and comeup with academic answers, that would be a healthy discussion which everyone will enjoy reading.

And i dont love him neither am i his fan, and i disagree with him in MANY thungs, but I am tolerant enough to discuss it peacefully with him through email rather than using abusive language and proving my "jahalat". :D

    1. I think that you'll find that the majority of the people here who are insulting the brother are what are what are known as 'malangs' - the vast majority of their beliefs and customs have next to no basis in tashayyu', you have to go to the most obscure books, sometimes even sunni books to back up some of their beliefs, so it is really ironic that they are against against anyone reading what they consider to be "obscure books" - it is a mix of total delusion and hypocrisy, with a nice dose of comedy that they actually believe that they are refuting anything. I believe that phrase that best fits is "lol"

  6. As per the words of Khamenai, If its a Bid'at just because the Imam's (as) never did it. Then the form of beating of the chest practiced in India and Pakistan and hitting on the back chains (without knifes) in Iran should also be called out as Bid'aah because the Imam's (as) never practiced these as well.

Picking up only one or two practices and calling them Bid'at and permitting the others looks hypocritical.
